60 YEAR OLD LADY
This 60 year old lady was unhappy with the appearance and function of her mouth and was self conscious about smiling. After preliminary orthodontic and periodontic treatment, full mouth reconstruction was started. The patient wanted the most conservative treatment rendered.
I decided to first whiten her existing dentition. Then I bonded the post-orthodontic black triangles of her mandibular anteriors, laminated #8-11 with feldspathic porcelain and placed porcelain fused to zirconia crowns on all the posterior teeth as well as 2 unit PFZ cantilever bridge on teeth #6, 7. The end result was a happy patient who enjoyed to smile again.
